Before I ask my question, I'd just like to say that I'm relatively new to DVD authoring so this question may seem elementary to some. That being said, I've been trying to backup DVDs and have run into a problem involving celltimes. I can rip the m2v, ac3, and subtitle files no problem with DVD decrypter. However, most of the movies I have worked with have been very large films which needed to re re-encoded with rempeg2. After successfully re-encoding the m2v file, I have not found a way to author the DVD in ifoedit and preserve the chapter breaks for the new m2v file. When I try to use the old "celltimes.txt" file from DVD decrypter it authors the DVD fine, but the old celltimes do not correspond to the new file correctly. Playing the DVD proves this. I was just wondering if there was an easy way to preserve these chapter breaks AFTER re-encoding a large video file. ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
