*also side note, under dolby digital it says DECODE? does that mean this is already encoded for dolby digital, or will I have to still encode when I extract the audio from the video and use REELDVD?
Decode will result in a very large WAV file for sound which can be then transcoded to whatever you like. I'd imagine REELDVD will open it.

The other option, Demux, will just extract the sound as the original mp2 file.

If you save the project file, TMPGEnc should be able to open it not problems.

As setarip said, it's our pleasure

Once I open up DVD to avi and have the video loaded. what settings should i set up b4 I save as a project to be opened?

After this I will open up VFAPI reader and load the saved project and from there then what's the next step.

Is this going to use a different codec or just save it as a different file so that I can open it up in TMPEGenc (which will separate audio from video?)

Note for screen ratio the movie file is in widscreen already

I really am sorry about asking all the AM questions
