Multiple SVCD movies on DVD media

Hi
Is it possible to create a Multiple movie DVD with at menu to playback SVCD Mpeg2 movies but using DVD+R(W) media.

As for now I am using Sonic My DVD and unfortuantely it converts SVCD MPEG2 into DVD MPEG2 so the size is about 4 times bigger than the original hence the DVD will not take more than 1 or 2 movies even if they are originally 690MB.

Is there a workaround for this, does anyone have suggestions for other software's to accomplish this tasks.

Also, it would be admirable if the new DVD+R(W) could be read by my set top DVD.
(Supports DVD+R(W) and SVCD formats.
