    New to burning DVD's

I recently purchased a Pioneer A05. The software provided with the DVD burner was ArcSoft Showbiz, Sonic, Pinacle. I was importing mpeg2 footage, 4 files, into Sonic (MyDVD) with the estimated size at about 3.8 gigs. After the first mpeg file, I was told I had a remaining amount of 1.8 gigs, which is BS, since each file is about 800 megs. After importing all files, I was unable to burn.

I decided to switch programs, and used Showbiz. Ok, here's my question. After placing all the files into the "storyboard", I decided to "Make Movie". Now it's producing the "entire movie". Will it "produce" the movie then burn it onto my DVD in a DVD format?

Let me know if I'm not making any sense.

    Thanks in advance.

I believe Showbiz will allow you to either create a DVD (WITHOUT menus) or "hand it off" to My DVD (create a My DVD project) for burning...
