    Magical Program?

Is there any way that I can burn a movie that I downloaded without having to take hours converting this to that? Is there a program out there that will just load gangs of new york (example)
the way it is and burn it to a DVD? Any help would be greatly apreciated

    Remember

DVD has standards just like other format. Generally speaking dvd movies are 720 X 480 in resolution. If your downloaded video is of this format you dont need to re-encode. Else you need to bring the movie to the DVD standards so that it can be read by standard DVD players.

Not really, standard DVD players only read vob's (mpeg2 streams) and VCD's (MPEG1 streams) anything else and it probably isn't compatable. Most people use TMPenc, also Nero has a VCD converter, but either way it will take several hours to convert a compressed avi to vcd.
