    how do you create a philips compatible ifo file

    every dvd i do for a philips 761 dvd player wont work,,,i`ve tried lots of methods.dvd-rs i buy work ok,,using the same media for both,,,




    found something interesting about the above,,

    i started using sonic my dvd,,

    when you click on get movies,,in the window that opens,,in file of types,,you have,,

    movies(avi,m2p,m2v ect)

    but the next one down says,,

    philips IFO files (ifo)

    so the burning question is how do you create a compatible philips ifo file,,,,

    That's probably simply a reference to the fact that Phillips INVENTED the DVD and its format (.IFO, .BUP, .VOB files) - and to differentiate that format from the others that you've listed...

      You know that Philips is behind dvd+r(w)... PLUS!!!
      That may also be a reason why your dvd's won't play...
      If you have a dru-500 you're in luck.. you only need to change your media.. If not, well... you can guess
      At every wedding my grandma's were poking me and saying 'You're next'. They stopped doing that when i started doing the same thing on funerals.
