Edit subtitles in existing .vob files

I need to change subtitles in existing .vob files.

The subtitles do exist and i do not need to change the timing or add new subtitles.

If you have any ideas i would be very glad to hear them.

Hi Elvis. This is not a special idea, but it does not require any professional program and I think it will work. I 'm talking about re-authoring.
Demultiplex your vob file with your favorite program e.g. vobedit.
Extract subtitles in text format using SubRip. Edit them as you like and convert them to sup format (at last! there is a text to sup converter available; download it from www.doom9.org). Insert audio track, video track and sup file into ifoedit to rebuild a new vob.
Remember: ifoedit does not create menus. To keep menu there are some other tricks (try ifoupdate as described here)
    Good luck. Chris
