Screen Capture

OK OK ... im sorry for posting this here , but im trying to take a screen capture from a movie to use as a background for my menu but i "cant" i press print screen go into paint/psp8 paste it and its just blank (black where the picture should be).

could someone please tell me how i can get an actual screen capture from a movie file

ok problem now solved , i used virtual dub to oen the video file and it lets me do it from there
