I did a quick eval of DVD Author. It is the first authoring tool I have used so my experience base is zero.
Overall, very slick and simple tool. You can get going very quickly, have some customization capability in the design of the menus and chapter content. I can see how it can be limiting but it still does a good and fast job of throwing a menu structure over a series of vobs that you want to assemble together. I like that it can build multi title menus as well as chapters.
I came across two other packages: Ulead DVD Workshop and DVDit. Any comment on these visavis DVD Author and DVDLab??
