I ripped a DVD (just the movie, no extras), but the parts came in out of order. The movie is a bunch of animated shorts, so it's not your typical two-hour VOB file. I discovered the end credits were in the beginning of the movie(not what I want).
I used MpegUtils to separate the VOB in question into separate chapters. Now I'm going to use VOBMerge to combine the movie parts, then merge the end credits chapter to the last VOB file.
Question is: What do I do in IFOEdit to make sure that the newly re-edited VOB files have the correct IFO information? Do I make entire new IFO files or just use the "Get VTS Sectors" option or something?
Also, this movie has English subtitles. When I separated the chapters, I couldn''t turn on the subtitles. How do I make sure the right subtitles will be in the right place when I merge and re-do the IFO files? Thanks.
