    Missing Video_TS.info and BUP files

Hi, I have some problem to backup my movie. I had captured a movie by a Microstar TV capture card, save the file as MPEG-2 format. Then combine those 2 files by TMPGEnc DVD Author. Afther combining the file, the new files size is about 8G. I use the DVD Shrink program, open the file, backup the MPEG-2 file and finally generated
    VTS_01_0 - DVD navigation file
    VTS_01_0.VOB
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB
    VTS_01_5.VOB
Then I open the Nero 6.0, created a DVD disc by using above files. However, there is a error message showing that there are missing files VIDEO_TS.INFO and VIDEO_TS.BUP
Can anyone tell me that how to generate the VIDEO_TS.INFO and VIDEO_TS.BUP Are there any additional software I will need or I had made some mistake.
    Thanks

"Then combine those 2 files by TMPGEnc DVD Author."

If, in fact, you DID use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (and not "TMPGEnc", which is a different program), that program would have created the Video_TS.IFO and VIDEO_TS.BUP files...

just did it, thanks, btw, since the original mpeg2 file had been deleted. what will be the easier way to create the missing Video_TS.IFO and VDEO_TS.BUP files from this folder
          "VTS_01_0 - DVD navigation file
          VTS_01_0.VOB
          VTS_01_0.BUP
          VTS_01_1.VOB
          VTS_01_2.VOB
          VTS_01_3.VOB
          VTS_01_4.VOB
          VTS_01_5.VOB"

Since you say you have TMPGenc DVD Author...merge the VOB's DVDShrink created (Starting with VTS_01_1.VOB ...you can leave VTS_01_0.VOB out) with Boilsoft's AVI_MPEG_RM_WMV Joiner. Take the .VOB_All file to TMPGenc DVD Author, build your DVD files AND BURN (it has that capability, too).

Download the trial version of AVI_MPEG_RM_WMV Joiner. Join all the 5 files to form a 4.8G video file. Use the TMPGenc DVD Author to build the DVD files, unfortunely, there are an error that the TMPGenc show that only 55min of video from the 4.8G files ? However, I am able to play the 4.8G file by the Windows Mediaplayer ! Do you think there are anything error on the TMPGenc DVD author or wrong setting ?

I thought you said the VOB's came from DVDShrink....you needed to shrink them to 4.37GB in order for them to be burned on the DVD disc. Does TMPGenc DVD Author accept the merged .vob? Do you get the 55 min reading after it processes the too large file...or is it telling you that it'll take 55 min to do the processing? In any event you'll need to take the original file back into DVDShrink and get it sized properly...you can only get 4.37GB on a 4.7GB disc...you must size smaller than that.

You could have just simply created the missing files with IFOedit which has a 'Create IFOs' button then compressed with DVDshrink instead of messing about merging VOBs and reauthoring with TMPG DVDauthor.
