plz help dvd ac3 edit and new menu

    hello please help...
i have a dvd professionell made from my own films...
now i like to do 2 diffrent things

    1. i like to give them a menu cause it´s just the movie without chapter etc... is there any programm which can handle this (pal progressive with ac3) without decrypting and so on... anyway the film is not decrypted cause it´s a straight copy from my digibeta. i just wanna make a menu like i can do in ulead workshop...

    2. i made some movies and i like to make a showreel out of it so what´s the best way to edit this vob files and bring it back to dvd in best possible quality ... i think i have to make avi files out of them to edit in a normal way like premiere?

    manny thanks for u´re help...

"i just wanna make a menu like i can do in ulead workshop..."

"TMPGEnc DVD Author" (Different than "TMPGEnc")...

"i made some movies and i like to make a showreel out of it so what´s the best way to edit this vob files and bring it back to dvd in best possible quality ..."

If the .VOBs are part of COMPLETE DVD "packages", once again, you can use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (Different than "TMPGEnc")...

What do you mean edit, exactly what do you want to do with it?

If all you want to do is give it a menu and some chapters with scene selections then use DVDlab which can do this very quickly.

As can "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (even easier than DVDLab) - as previously mentioned...

Well maybe maybe not, but TMPG DVD author CANNOT import chapters from the original movie and create the scene selections from it which is why I would choose DVDlab over TMPG.

              ???

In TMPGEnc DVD Author You certainly can readily bring in the movie, with its original chaptering in tact. You can then easily edit 'til your heart's content and, if desired, create your own modified chaptering...

How do you go about this.
Maybe it's a recent addition. I have have an older version which doesn't allow any such thing.
                How are the chapters imported?

If you are the legitimate owner of a purchased version, go to the website and download and install the most recent update...

No, I only downloaded it as a demo. It's been a while since I tried TMPG dvdauthor because it didn't serve my needs, so maybe I'll check out the new version if it's true as you say.
