    mpeg2 editing

Question: ... what would be the easiest way to cut one second off of the first part of an .m2v file? As viewed by dvd2avi there is a screen shot of the movie rating in the first second of Crocodile Hunter .m2v file ripped by dvd decrypter. When this file is parsed by Maestro, it lists as OK, but is only one second long (I am assuming that is becuase of the rating screen issue).
I tried cutting the first second using Chopper XP, but not success.
    Any Ideas?????
    Thanks
