Hi all, new member here.
Here is my problem, hope someone can assist me with it.
I have several episodes of a particular series, all are in Divx3 or Xvid format AVI, and all appear to use AC3 audio
I have done the following to put these onto dvd.
Using TMPCENG I convert these avi files into SVCD MPEG files, setting the bitrate to 2500 giving me a file size of approx 850mb.
I then take the Mpeg file, and using DVDLAB I import the file into it. DVDLAB then demuxes the video and audio for me (takes 10 mins) and offers to transcode the audio into a more suitable format for DVD, in this case I leave it as standard (Optimal) but have tried PCM and others.
The audio transcodes, I build several episodes into the same dvd, add a menu, create the relevant connections, compile and burn my DVD.
Playback in my home DVD player, and I get a perfect menu, video is great, and good quality, but no sound, nada, not an incling.
I am completely lost now. Nothing I do works.
I have tried extracting the audio in Virtual Dub to Wav, and selecting this as the audio source in TMP but still no go.
Anyone got any ideas on this, is there something that works as well as TMP that I can use instead to test things out more.
Thanks in advance for any help I get.
