This is what I am trying to do...

I am trying to copy Extras only to CDRs.

So far I have Re-Authrored the Extras usding DVD Shrink and that works fine. The problem I am having is that I am using Ulead Movie Factory to decode them to SVCD, and Ulead does NOT understand AC Audio.

I was thinking on splitting the Audio from the Extras, convert the Audio to WAV then put them back together using Ulead.

Any advice on another way, or easier way of doing this? Is there a Software that will burn Extras only to CDRs?

If I burn the Extras as "Media" or "Data" will most DVD players play it?

You may be using an older version of Movie Fact. I believe the newest version does now support AC3.

You could try to use the "Mini DVD" feature in Nero. This is a regular DVD file structure that will go on a CD (r, rw) disk–if within the 640/700 mg limit.

Ya, I did a search on the site the other day and found this method and tried it, only my DVD player would not read it. Thanks for the advice though.

Im gonna see if I can update my Ullead and try that method. I will post back if it works.

Your standalone must not support CD (r, rw) media.

I down loaded the Trial Version of Ulead 3 today. Everything is fine, only now it dont support "Dolby Digital". What gives? Back to the drawing board!

It appears the Ac-3 support is bundled into a version of Movie Factory called "Disc Creator". Either you downloaded the wrong trial or maybe the trial has the AC-3 feature disabled, a common practice in trialware.

I am also looking at DVD2SVCD. Have you used this before? I am going to look for instructions on how to use it. At the moment it seems way hard, but I am sure to figure out somehow.

Are you talking about the Disc Creator version? The website states it does support DD.

I use DVD2DVD quite a lot. It does no authoring other than creating the basic IFO files that support playing the main title along with any subtitles and secondary audio tracks and chapters. No menu or other user definable authoring capability.
