TMPGE's New AC3 Plug-In

I used up my free 30 days w/TMPGE DVD Author, so it was time to buy. I decided to get the bundle that also has the AC3 encoder plug-in.

I installed the new TMPGE, did the key thing, then I installed the plug-in, did the key/verification thing (which actually it repeats each time you open TMPGE DVD Author). But...

There are absolutely no instructions for this plug in anywhere. I doesn't seem to show in any of the TMPGE windows, and in the start menu it only brings up a help file regarding installation and some text file regarding the same thing.

Does anyone know how to operate this thing? Can it take my VOBs, imported into TMPGE DVD Author and translate them from linear PCM to AC3? That's what I would really like.

Never mind. Found the instructions in the TMPGE DVD AUthor main help menus.

Had a chance to reencode a 90 min movie video, using the AC3, which allowed me to fit onto a DVD without compressing at all. A noticeable improvement in video quality.

Pretty cool.
