    Which program are you using in the DVD authoring process?

      Chances are the .VOB with the .AC3 audiostream is silent when converted - because many DVD authoring programs are "picky" about correct .AC3 headers.

      Download and use "AC3FIX" and use it on your .VOB with .AC3 audio.

      Let us know of your success ;>}

        If you've got Nero 6, give it a shot in Nero Vision Express. You can choose either LPCM or Dolby 2 audio. I would merge them in NVE and then create chapter stops. To get rid of the menu it creates open the output in Recode and just choose the movie. For some reason though, sometimes NVE's files won't open in Recode (some sort of error). In this case I open the files in InstantCopy 8 to drop the menu and do the final burn.
