DVD->DVD-R ReMPEG2 Probs

I am trying to rip and burn Captain Corelli's Mandolin...

OK...
This is the problem....I am following guide lines from doom9.net
I rip to movie to my hd with DVD Decrypter
I use IFOEDIT to get rid of extra stuff...
And now the problems start.
According to the guide I am supposed to use ReMPEG2 to shrink the file size to 4.7GB total....
I make the cffl file (with all the vob files inside), ReMPEG2 reads the structure, gives me the numbers and stuff and I find the right scale factor and stuff and select all the right options and this what happens:

I press encode, asks me for a filename, I put ccm.m2v and then NOTHING HAPPENS.
In the log it says this:

encoder thread started...
decoder done...
"

that's it...it just stands there for hours...
I have no clue what am I doing wrong really...
it drives me nuts...I tried that with whole bunch of movies and it doesn't work...
any suggestions???

oh yeah another thing
I had ReMPEG2 crash multiple times and I never got to succee to open some .vob files...does it happen to a lot of ppl that ReMPEG2 crashes on them???

where you need to save it in the same

problem solved I think
