Hey, hows it goin? Fine. ‘Lil frustrated but fine.
I believe I have all the right ingredients:
-video/m2v
-audio/ac3
-subtitles/sup
-chapter points/txt
Muxed ifo file says my playback is 1hr 22mins 22secs when the original movie is 1hr 41mins 46secs.
Chapter points are off. Crams chapter breaks off the new 2hr timetable. If I try to skip past 2hr mark using powerdvd it returns me back to the first chapter.
I know ifoedit can edit an ifo’s playback time but I need to know exactly how to do it.
I’m pushing toward ifoedit because other programs wipe out my subtitle track altogether. The use of subtitles is a must so I’m limited to a few programs.
-scenarist - too expensive.
-dvdmaestro – found on ebay, willing to buy but comes with no activation code/keys?
-reeldvd - could not convert subtitles to sst. format.
-ifoedit – creates ifo file with wrong playback time.
-nero 6 – i could shoot them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have access to previous versions of windows. Win95, 98se, pro2000. Ready ‘n’ willing to reinstall if need be.
p.s. A question that probably won’t get answered today.
Does anyone know how to make a screen that gives the viewer the option to turn subtitles on or off?
Oh, I do know how to change my subtitle colors back.J
