Burning XVid

Here is my situation: I have all of the Friends Series 10 episodes and while I used to have 250MB Mpeg versions, I downloaded a 175MB XVid and discovered the quality was far superior. Now, I managed to burn one file with Roxio Easy CD Creator DVD Burner but I can only fit 2-3 episodes on a DVD. What's the best free DVD-authoring tool so that I could burn pretty much 4.7GB of XVid data, and not having a few GB taken up by menus.
