hi, I hope someone can help with this case.
I am reauthoring a DVD in the following way:
1. I ripped the intro of 10 seconds, DVD sound is AC3 5.1
2. I ripped the MOVING MENU intro of 10 seconds, DVD sound is LPCM
3. I ripped the main movie, DVD sound is AC3 5.1
I then demultiplexed MOVING MENU intro of 10 seconds (sound LPCM) and converted the LPCM into AC3 5.1 with Sonic Soft Encode and multiplexed it back into a new VOB.
I have then joined those VOBs (all are now with AC3 5.1) with VOBEdit. Then I created the IFOs with IFOEdit and corrected the navigational packs.
Even though I converted LPCM into AC3 5.1, when I correct the IFOs with IFOEdit it shows me 2 different AC3 5.1 streams.
THE PROBLEM is that I want everything to be joined into one AC3 5.1 stream and I want just one AC3 stream to appear in IFOs.
I do not want 2 different AC3 5.1 streams to appear on IFOs and consequently they appear when I watch them on the TV.
How should I proceed? Join the original AC3 files and the converted AC3 file?
