    I'm in the middle of an Update Cycle
    Current is Ver 4.13 (Best to Update)
    Ver. 4.14 will be coming out soon

    I used infoedit like your tutorial says
    infoedit (??ifoedit??) -- I don't remember saying anything like that anywhere.

    I'm unsure as to what tutorial you are using -- Is it this one
    (its really the only valid one now)

    TW main Click About >>Titlewriter Help>>Add Menu>> Subsection --Readd Original Menu
    This describes the individual steps (after DVDShrinking in Reauthor mode)

    The Automated way is to simply open the Ripped folder in TW
    Click the DVDShrink icon on the Toolbar (See Help -- Settings)
    Say Yes to the First query (essentially do you want to create a single compiliation and reAdd the menu)
    And go with the flow
    TW will start DVDShrink with the ripped folder in reauthor >>You edit cut stuff in Reauthor mode>>Backup >> when DVDShrink is done processing TW steps in and ReAdds the Menu back in and parses Dvd text from the DVDShrink target filename

      Thanks very much for continuous version-up. Recently frequency that uses this software is increasing for me. It is very useful to join faivorite music clips, for example.

      I tried to modify IFOs for below purpose.
      (1)return to menu after replaying last title, not exit.
      (2)return to the same page of movie menu which select each title after replaying each title.
      I confirmed its working and guess it wouldn't have the problem.
      I'm glad if you point out problem or give me any advise cosidering TW's entire structure.
      This is modifying IFOs of Re-Authored 20 titles (no VTS root-menu).
      (1)Last VTST, add and change.
      ********** post commands:
      1 Set gprm(0) =(mov) 20
      2 (CallSS) Call the First Play PGC, resume cell 1
      (2)VMG_PGC1, add to last line.
      ********** pre commands:
      4 Set gprm(2) =(mov) 5
      5 if ( gprm(2) == gprm(0) ) then { (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 2 }
      6 Set gprm(2) =(mov) 6
      7 if ( gprm(2) == gprm(0) ) then { (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 2 }
      ...
      omission
      ...
      32 Set gprm(2) =(mov) 19
      33 if ( gprm(2) == gprm(0) ) then { (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 5 }
      34 Set gprm(2) =(mov) 20
      35 if ( gprm(2) == gprm(0) ) then { (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 5 }
      (3)VMG_PGC(last), add to last line.
      ********** pre commands:
      41 Set gprm(1) =(mov) 0
      42 (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 1

      Edit: The problem was found. The next button of last page of movie menu can't jump to any page.

      Regards.

        Jinjin_jp Heres your return to same page bit -- note the pgc pre commands in each menu -- A bit simpler this way
        A little more elegant to return to menu you called from -- I'll leave it in Tw .
        Note if entering vmgm from vts menu -- You start at menu 1 (ttn pre command set gprm0=0

                  Both the automated & By Hand modes need a complete original dvd (unencrypted) on your HD, menus and all.

                  Essentially when you hit the DVDShrink icon you are telling TW you have opened the full original DVD.

                  1. In Automated mode you open the above folder
                  2. (You hit The transcoder icon) it asks the Question you answer Yes or no Automatically takes you into the DVDShrink reauthor editor (where you create a movie)
                  3. If you answered yes then when DVDShrink is done it automatically loads output into TW.
                  4. then it automatically fills in the DVD Text options (parsing DVDShrink Target file name)
                  5. automatically selects the menus (Into the Menu Selector window) selected from the full movie source
                  6. automatically hits Save Changes

                  In automated mode you simply setup your movie in DVDShrink, Click Backup and walk away

                  In regular mode you open the the output folder of the DVDShrink editor program

                  And in the above explanation replace the word "automatically" with "Then you"
                  and you are starting in step 4

                  Regular mode has more flexibility --
                  In DvdText, you can edit anything right down to the chapter names
                  Menus selected -you can create a generic menu(Much Much smaller then original menus),use any menu from any source,etc)

                  I think you are thinking too much. just open the folder containing a full unencrypted dvd on your HD in TW, Hit DVDShrink icon, Click Yes and go with the flow

                    Hi, FA. Thanks for the new TW.
                    I tried it. Its ifo command is simpler as you say.
                    For "(1)return to menu after replaying last title, not exit.", I changed post command of last VTST like below from "exit".
                    1 Set gprm(0) =(mov) **
                    2 (CallSS) Call the First Play PGC, resume cell 1

                    It can return to same page.
                    But the next button of last page of movie menu can't jump to any page, after the title which its button is in last page.
                    It seems to be so because gprm(0) is big and it jump over earlier page, from PgcEdit's TraceMode.
                    (It is same whether changing post command of last VTST or not.)

                    Regards.

                      odd things happen when you modify things don't they -- this ones easy though
                      To Make your non exit exit logic work simply add 1 command to the end of each menu pre commands
                      Set gprm(0)=0

                      So when you actually enter the menu everything is null and you start clean

                      viola

                      Since it does no harm to the overall menu structure I've incorporated last pre command gprm(0)=0 into TW pre menu commands in Ver below.

                      But I will not modify last title exit command (TW leaves all ttn pre post commands strictly alone (I have very good reasons for this))

                        the next button of last page of movie menu can't jump to any page, after the title which its button is in last page.
                        It seems to be fixed by adding pre-command to VMGM-pgc of last page of menu.
                        ********** pre commands:
                        2 Set gprm(0) =(mov) 0

                        And "(1)return to menu after replaying last title, not exit."(when all-play) is possible by adding pre-command to last VMGM-pgc, add to last line.
                        ********** pre commands:
                        41 Set gprm(0) =(mov) 0
                        42 (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 1

                        And as previous post, "(1)return to menu after replaying last title, not exit." is possible by adding post-command to last VTST.
                        ********** post commands:
                        1 Set gprm(0) =(mov) 20
                        2 (CallSS) Call the First Play PGC, resume cell 1

                        I guess this 3 changes seem to work with no problem.
                        I'm glad if you point out problem or give me any advise cosidering TW's entire structure.

                        Regards.

                        Edit: Sorry, I noticed your new post after this post. (I have too much time to post in English.)
                        I will use new TW.

                          I recommend a slight change

                          in vts last movie post commands
                          for your Do Not exit logic

                          Replace Exit with these lines
                          set gprm(0)=LastMovie;
                          set gprm(1)=0; essentially turn off autoplay in all cases
                          (CallSS) Call the First Play PGC, resume cell 1

                          This keeps all your changes in one spot and minimizes unwanted interaction with any future changes I might make in the Vmgm menu structure

                            I tried to use new TW. It works well. Thanks very much everytime.

                            But I will not modify last title exit command (TW leaves all ttn pre post commands strictly alone (I have very good reasons for this))
                            Do you mean it is better not to modify exit command.
                            This time I modified
                            (1)post-command of last VTST
                            ********** post commands:

                            (2)post-command of last VMGM-pgc
                            ********** pre commands:
                            1 Set gprm(0) =(mov) 0
                            2 (JumpSS) Jump to VMGM PGC 1
                            If this modifying causes any problem, I want to give up to modify.

                              I'm leaving the ttn pre and post strategy alone to eliminate possibilities when readding original menus
                              what you do after that is up to your own skill

                              Your Exit change doesn't cause me problems at this point or in the future.

                              From here on I won't need to think about it since you will work with the VMGM layout

                              The change I gave you does exactly the same thing without modifying any Vmgm commands. You are only modifying the exit strategy and then working with the VMGM menus -- instead of having to tinker with them

                              The old -- Keep It Simple Stupid rule applies KISS

                              Its always better to modify the minimum when you play with dvd navigation -- the side effects can be a pain to track down (as in what play all did when you altered the exit command or the next button going around in circles (thats what it was doing))

                                I tried according to your advise;
                                in vts last movie post commands, replace Exit with these lines
                                set gprm(0)=LastMovie;
                                set gprm(1)=0; essentially turn off autoplay in all cases
                                (CallSS) Call the First Play PGC, resume cell 1

                                The result was everything well, and this is very simple.
                                Thanks very much.
