Finally -- moved that F@&%king window over and up.

Uploaded yet another -- On both windows its the size -- not position --Simple fix (I hope). (but they still show up correctly here on testbed2 both size and position)

The only thing still bothering me is the width of the chapter selector window
Here it extends all the way to the end of the Delete All Button

I'll tinker with it but I am not going to worry about it too much

Looking at your screen though -- Might I suggest you use another color for text that black seems somewhat invisible

Still don't understand why that problem cropped up there and not here or elsewhere for that matter.

This was only for testing. Color settings might be strange.

Still don't understand why that problem cropped up there and not here or elsewhere for that matter.

In the current version of TitleWriter, the MakeMenu function supports only mp2 audio.
The mp2 audio does not work in some Japanese DVD players because either ac3 or LPCM audio is essential but mp2 audio is not essential.
I think it is easy to add ac3 audio support into the MakeMenu function.

Added ac3 in TitleWriterTestBed2.zip --you are quite right -- trivial

Note: I'm right in the middle of a major change -- Adding custom vts chapter/audio menus (Yes jinjin_jp it looks like you will get your request) so there are extra things on the Make Menu screen at the moment.

PS That test chapter menu generator is pulling chapter snapshots. I know I'm 1 ch off

I tried TestBed2. The results are as follows:
AC3 audio support is good.
It seems Vts Menu Button is not effective.
It seems the moved frame of each thumbnail image in VMGM cannot be remembered.

I'm trying to speed things up where I can -- the side effects are terrible
just uploaded another testbed at 6:29-- its a current snapshot
Ps drop the jpgs into menufiles folder --Used on the Test Ch button

The Recolor system resources -- allows files used to be recolored
PlayAll.jpg, Play.jpg, Next.jpg etc Don't set to black 0,0,0 through 15

Thanks for your efforts.

I tried new TestBed.
There is no problem except "Test CH".
It is nice that the color of "Next", "Back" and "PlayAll" buttons can be changed.

It seems "Test CH" is unstable.
When I tried "Test CH" for a movie with eight chapters, only seven chapters' thumbnails were displayed.
When I tried "Test CH" for a movie with ten chapters, TitleWriter hung up.
I hope "Test CH" will be improved in the next version.

Yes test ch is very much of a work in progress --

Modifying/Tinkering with code all over to increase speed -- adding functions like mad
these testbeds are very unstable especially on sections I'm currently working on.
Since I'm testing with only 1 compiliation.

Otherwise The bugfixes though should be stable (IE like TW losing the movie offset -- should be much stabler)

Thanx for the info on chapters -- I'll have to test and see if I've already fixed

Basically there are 3 different types of release

Testbeds/snapshots -- Very Very unstable -- A work in progress
Betas -- Functional (All actions seem complete -- a few tests -- code seems stable)
Releases -- Myriad tests -- User reported Bugfixes-- Seems Stable

Just uploaded another testbed -- fully functional here in my tests 2,3,34 movies --many diff # chapters -- audios -- subs

includes chapter,audio and subtitle vts menus creator

Added quite a bit of DVDAuthor error trapping (On failure a window pops up)
To Save content RClick>>Select All>>Copy will put it in clipboard.

If it hangs up there I'll probably need that windows content to figure out what happened -- Way to much info to add to TW log

i have a slight problem FA

hi FA> i have FINALLY figured out how to use your awesome program, and have used it a few times to copy my movies. All the times i have used it nothing has gone wrong and it is simple to use. These last 2 i have tried i go to use dvd shrink to re-author my movie and it shows the main movie and menu being ok...after burning them the menu feature is not available on my dvd.

I click main menu and it goes "blue screen" on me.


here is how i have used it before without any problems.

1. open my VIDEO_TS folder in TW then click on automated dvd shrink icon.
2. i edit the languages and audios i want, then move main movie to left side of dvd shrink.
3. i click on back up and set my settings to "harddrive" folder.
after dvd shrink is done i close it down.
4. i then click on "no" for adding compilation in TW and TW does its thing.
5. i then take the re-authored files back into shrink after menu is added back in and THIS time i burn to dvd.


All the other times it has worked these last 2 times i cant get the menu to function on the dvd BUT it works on my windows media player AND in dvd shrink.

any ideas???
