no sound in motion menu ?? (tmpgdvdauthor)

Hi,

I recorded something with my Panasonic DVD-Recorder. The standard audio format there is DD 2.0.

With tmpgdvdauthor I will author a dvd with motion menu and sound.

the motion menu works, but it has no sound.

The "use audio of the backround......" button is choosen.

What is the reason for that. The author don't accept dd 2.0 Sound for the motion menu?

P.S. I work with version 1.5.20.62. The version 1.6 don't accept these vro-Files of the dvd-Recorder!

From the dropdown "Help" menu of TMPGEnc DVD Author:

Select whether to use BGM for the menu or not When a picture in an MPEG-1 or an MPEG-2 file is specified as a background picture, the audio from these files will be played. The audio has to be MPEG-1 Audio Layer2 or Linear PCM. (AC-3 cannot be used).

Sh.. !! I thougt so.

Ok, I will change my configuration on the DVD-Recorder. He can also record the sound in linear pcm.
