Looking for a software to make autolaunch menus

    Hello guies,

I'm looking for a software to make autolaunch menus for Xvids, Divxs and MKV movies that I want to compile on DVDs to avoid to have tons of CDRs.

I want to make DVDRs with a menu that will autolaunch when inserting the DVDR in a PC or Stand Alone DVD Player. For the PC part, I want it to to allow me to create buttons that will : launch each movie, install codecs, install a player software, an about button that will open a .txt file, and a 'Contact' button that will launch the computer's default mail client to send me an email.

    Thanks

Thanks for the info, but I can't find the software, the official site is down and no other place is allowing to download it.

If you haven't already done so, try a Googlesearch for "Hobbit's DVD Launcher" - it'll list two pages of sites. Some may be active (although possibly not in English).

I did, but couldn't find an active page.

I guess you'll have to do some additional independent research then, to locate a similar program...

Or just give up, as I can just browse the DVDs I'll burn, and that the stand alone player have an easy to use interface to launch DivX and Xvids movies.

I just wanted to do menus like I used to do with QuickMenuBuilder Pro , but still usable when I insert the DVD or CD in a stand alone player.

                That's certainly your prerogative...

Well, I don't give up easily usually, but I'm too tired now to do more searches, I'll fo more tomorrow....

Having a splashing menu, with a background picture, a background mp3 song, and buttons is a thing I think I can live without.

I assume that having a working menu to launch divxes and xvids on a standalone player involves the creation of a .vob file. Thinking about it, I think I can remember, that the maker of DVDSplitter is making a software to create menus, and I think that I have it.

I did a search on the P2P network, and found Hobbit's DVD Launcher.

So, I'm going to share it with everyone here.

I didn't test it yet, but it looks good enough.
