I have searched far and wide for a program that suits my needs and habits and Womble's MPEG Video Wizard 2003 seems to be the best for ME... as I was authoring my 8mm transfer .VOB files.
Now with all those old home movies done, I switched my attention to the .avi files from my Panasonic DV camcorder. This is where the problems are...
The .avi files, encoded with both video and audio, when imported into MVW, lose all audio and the audio menu from the mouse right-click is shaded out.
The audio/video works fine in Nero, Roxio Creator 6 and others yet every clip I import has NO SOUND.
This trial version is supposed to be a FULLY FUNCTIONAL version. Am I wrong?
I capture from the DV using Roxio DVD Builder. Could this be the problem? If so, why doesn't other programs have this prooblem?
I am presently recoding the .avi to .mpg to see if it makes a difference.
Very frustrating, especially when I found a program I absolutely LOVE!!!! Truly the FASTEST and smoothest I have ever used...
Thanks,
Robert
