    Splitting a VOB

I am trying to use VOBSplit 2.6 to split a VOB file that I have because half of it is in widescreen format and the other half is in standard....is there anyway to tell by viewing the VOB at what exact point it is at in bytes because u need a specific byte value to know where it is in VOBSplit 2.6...please someone help

One year later and still a problem...

I am not the guy who originally posted this, but I have encountered the same exact issue. I need to chop up some vob files, but while I know the start and end points in terms of time (hh:mm:ss), I don't know how they convert to bytes.

Please help. If there is a different splitting utility which works off of time, that is fine too!

Using Chopper or ChopperXP, you can do this visually...

Did you ever try IFOedit to split it in two disc (assuming it's a dual layers disc) I would assume they put the layer break at the end of the first version.

              To SeanDaniel

This thread is about individual .VOBs, not full DVDs...
