Hi everyone,
I apologise if this has been asked before but I couldn't find specific information on the forum.
I have a xvid file that I want to convert to dvd format using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5. I have done this loads of times before successfuly, using the avi file as the audio source. But this time the audio compression is (Unknown tag 2000) which I've heard is AC3 so I installed the required codec.
After converting the avi using TMPGEnc the wav produced had no sound, the original avi has sound when played back though. I tried using DVD Santa to convert the avi and it worked fine but as it was a demo it has banners everywhere and I don't want to have to pay the money for the full version. What can I do in TMPGEnc to fix this, I tried converting another avi file straight after and it worked fine, it just seems that TMPGEnc doesn't like the avi I am using.
I tried to open the file in VirtualDub 1.5.10 but when it loads it come's up with the error message
Warning: Nothing to output Bframe decoder lag
Hope someone can help, I will be gratefull
Thanks in advance
