double sided DVD -> single sided

I have several double sided DVDs that have (2) titles on each side:

VTS_01_1, 2, and 3 .VOB and .IFO
VTS_02_1, 2, and 3 .VOB and .IFO

I want to take the first title from the second side:

VTS_01_1, 2, and 3 .VOB and .IFO

And add it to the 2 titles from the first side to look like this:

VTS_01_1, 2, and 3 .VOB and .IFO
VTS_02_1, 2, and 3 .VOB and .IFO
VTS_03_1, 2, and 3 .VOB and .IFO

I've used VOBEDIT to combine the VOBs, but it makes a single title:

VTS_01_1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 .VOB and .IFO

I'd like to keep them as separate titles if possible. I've fiddled with IFOEDIT to remake IFOs ... is it as simple as that and then simple rename the files? Can anyone give me some pointers?

You should be able to use DVD Shrink in re-author mode to create what you want.

Start a new creation and open up the first disc and move the 01 and 02 to the compilation window - then open up the next disc and move the 03 to the window. In the final output it would be 01, 02 and 03. I hope...

DVD Wiz. When in reauthor mode, DVD Shrink actually writes new titles. So what you will get, which you can verify by opening your finished project in PgcEdit, is title 1, 2 and 3.

Oh, and because VobEdit makes a single VOB doesn't mean it makes a single title (I presume you are following this guide). A VOB can contain up to 99 titles in it (and I'm working on a disk right now that has 30!). So don't worry about the VOB - the titles will be distinct and will have different VobIDs. And if they don't, VIDChanger can change them!
