    Nero or the CD-r

I have finally been able to use SMARTRIPPER and NERO to create a DVD. I ripped (Super Bowl XXXVI Patriots, under 4.7gb total) using Smartripper, then I used IFOedit as listed in a previous thread. Then I used NERO to create a UDF format DVD. I dragged the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders over. I then burned the DVD. The problem is that I can get it to play in every PC I try it on. But it does not work on my Apex 660. Almost everything works on that. I used Power DVD XP(4) and it plays like a regular DVD, just put it in the drive, let it autorun, and select play with PowerDVD.

Then I went to Ciruit City to test out the Apex AD1500, still nothing. Then I tried every set top player in the place. Nothing! Then I walked over to the PC department, and again it played on the PC no problem. NERO automatically checks the FINALIZE option.

could it be the CD-r blank? I have also tried DVD-rw on the Apex 660.

DVD not playing on set top boxes

I've had the same problem when using Nero to burn the VIDEO_TS directory onto the DVD-R. I used another authoring program (MY DVD) to burn an AVI onto the same make of DVD-R and it played fine on the set top player. I can only conlclude that either I or Nero's doing something wrong.
