MenuShrink ver 1.0 - utility for shrinking DVD motion menus to still frames
nwg, thanks a bunch for that!!! I really appreciate it! That's good news. Are you saying you have 5 players at home? That's got to be a forum record no?

I have more.
I have five in the same room!
I have the Sony NS900 and Pansonic HS2 (TV DVD Recorder) attached to my widescreen TV. The NS900 is my main player.
I have the Sony NS585 to my projector the opposite side of the room. I also count the computer as a player. It is also attached to the projector (as a video jukebox).
I also have a Encore DV450 (Sampo clone) not attached to anything at the moment and under the widescreen TV.
I have the Cyberhome 400 attached to another TV in another room.
nwg, I think you need to post a pic of all this, so we believe you
Now, what you have is exactly what I would need to test menushrink more thoroughly. Up to now, blutach is the one who's been doing all the tough tests with his inflexible sony...
The NS300 is old but it is a good player. The onyl problem it has that I found was it didn't play CD-R or CD-RW's. Sony was quite late implementing those formats compared to others.
I wouldn't have any other make for my main player.
Well I could do without the sony player!
Just kidding man, but I'm incredibly releaved that we got things to work on blutach's player (version 1.0 was NOT doing well on his star wars movies).
I'll put the story of what we had to do in the log when I release the next version.

I have R2 of Episodes 2, 4, 5 and 6. It might be worth trying those with MenuShrink in case there is a region difference. The R2 discs should be identical to R4.
Originally posted by blutach This DVD had so much unreferenced material on it (taking up god knows how many millions of Mb - they could put this in but not chapters LMAO) that it can not qualify for a record. Since they can be eliminated by IfoEdit or VobBlanker in a twinkling of an eye, the Unreffed should be deducted before the final savings are calculated - IMHO, of course.
So, I think the record books need rewriting.
C'mon jeanl, how about a level playing field???? A bit of fairness if you please!
Regards
I heard about that version, it seems I had another 1.
There were no black video parts in my version, I checked the entire DVD with DVDRemake (I even checked every cell).
There also was a chaptermenu on this disc, most versions I heard of didn't had 1.
Chapter menu was about 420MB, audio menu was 300MB & main menu was over 1GB.
