DVD-r Pioneer A03

Hello friends, my name is Ernesto Diaz, I´m from Bogotá, Colombia, South America; recently i did buy one A 03 Pioneer DVD burner. As a new user, i'm little confused tryng to burn a DVD, I have the Phillips DVD 711 Set top player and have burned 2 DVDs; in the computer they are OK but no one plays in the set top, could you help me? what do I need to do in order to get the DVD playng in the Phillips 711?

I'm very novice and any help is goin to be precious, also I speak spanish, sorry about my english.

Maybe your DVD Player does not support DVD-R?
