    Audio Rip from DVD???

    Hello,

Please excuse if I'm posting in the wrong section.

I have a question about DVD ripping of JUST the audio tracks to CD. Is this possible with DVD shrink? Or do I need another program for this?

Thanks, any help would be greatfull!

Try using a program called "DVD Audio Ripper". It will allow you to save specific chapters of the disk as either mp3 or WAV files.

Just wanted to make certain that you were aware that "DVD Audio Ripper" is a commercial product (Costs $29). You can purchase it at:

DVD Audio Ripper can extract audio from DVD and rip DVD to MP3, WAV, WMA with complete sound effects.

(That site also has a free trial version available)

If you want to simply rip the audiostreams of a DVD (in their .AC3 format), you can use (freeware) DVD Decrypter as follows:

Use DVD Decrypter stream processing in IFO mode.
Select track and then select the 'Demux' radio button.
The resultant AC3 file can then be processed by "besweet" (or similar) to convert to .WAV, .MP3, etc. format.

For new users of Besweet. I suggest using the Belight 0.21 GUI for Besweet. It makes it easier to use the program.

Besweet needs to be in the same directory ad Belight.exe.

            I suggest using Besweet v1.4
