    DvD Authoring (Rather long)

I am sorry if this has been asked over and over again. But I am at wits end. I am trying to figure out how to add separate menus (chapters) to my dvd for each days recording. This is what I am doing:
I am recording a hour long show Monday Through Friday in which I would like to archive to dvd to play in my home dvd player. I am recording through a ati all-in-wonder usb device. I am recording to mpeg-1 format since this leaves the most room on my hard drive (based on recording settings below). My ati device has four recording settings as follows:
    1. dvd for mpeg-2 at 8.00 m bit/second.
    2. good for ati format at 6.00 m bit/second.
    3. longer for ati format at 2.00 m bit/second.
    4. video cd for mpeg-1 at 1.13 m bit/second.
Again, I am using the video cd mpeg-1 recording setting. The five files that ati names these are:
    Noname 001.mpg at 612,536 kb
    Noname 003.mpg at 612,717 kb
    Noname 005.mpg at 612,717 kb
    Noname 007.mpg at 612,549 kb
    Noname 009.mpg at 612,549 kb
I tried to bring these files into Nero 6.6 or Adobe Premier Elements 1.0 but it will tell me that the file is too large to write to dvd or disk.
I have been using dvdSanta to convert the files, but the problem here is that the five days will go into one "chapter" that is five hours long. Here are the files that dvdSanta makes:
    Video_ts.bup 106kb (bup file)
Vides_ts.ifo 106 kb (Nero showtime file)
    Vts_01_0.bup 54 kb (bup file)
Vts_01_0.ifo 54 kb (Nero showtime file)
    Vts_01_1.vob 918,352 (ati file)
    Vts_02_0.bup 54 kb (bup file)
Vts_02_0.ifo 54 kb (Nero showtime file)
    Vts_02_1.vob 918,592 (ati file)
    Vts_03_0.bup 54 kb (bup file)
Vts_03_0.ifo 54 kb (Nero showtime file)
    Vts_03_1.vob 918,584 (ati file)
    Vts_04_0.bup 54 kb (bup file)
Vts_04_0.ifo 54 kb (Nero showtime file)
    Vts_04_1.vob 918,282 (ati file)
    Vts_05_0.bup 54 kb (bup file)
Vts_05_0.ifo 54 kb (Nero showtime file)
    Vts_05_1.vob 918,474 (ati file)
Before I burn the dvd with dvdSanta, can I rename some of the above files in order to have a separate "chapter" (menu) for each day? Or is there something else that I should be doing before dvdSanta?
I appreciate any advice offered, and again I am sorry for the length of this and for you in being patient with me.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down until you find DVDSanta, click Uninstall.
    Get your money back.
    Yes, I'm serious.

If you want to properly author a multi-episode DVD, get a proper authoring program.
Try DVDLab or Tmpgenc DVD Author.
If the finished product is too large for one disk, use DVDShrink to make it fit.

      I concur wholeheartedly with "reboot".
