    jumpingand freezing on playing

I burn several DVDs with the same clips
and they all have 5 or 6 points where the image freeze
or jump, but in all DVDs that happen on different clips,
so there isn´t a clip problem.
When burning only few clips, everyhting´s ok.

So, does mode/bitrate and amount of data in the DVD
    can cause these errors?

    For example:
I´m using VBR 7000kbps average and 192 for audio.
If I use less bitrate it could make it easier
    for the player or not?
    and
If, to have better quality (only I care)
and use CQ 9000 and 384 for audio,
could this make the reading harder or more
dependable from the media and the player condition?

I know I can test all these, but I already spent
days and more than 20 DVDs that will go to trash.
Can you help me with some light on it?

first of all use a rw disc! do these skips always happen at the same spots ? what kind of media are you using? what speed do you burn at? do the original clips play ok on the pc? make sure you are using the right media for your devices.

      info about burning

I´m using an LG at 4x speed,

      The media is Ridata 4.7GB

      ShouldI assumethat if the problem
      is on the burning process,
I would see the same problems in other DVDs
but problems arise on full DVD burnings (around 4GB)

If so, maybe the problem is a cheap media,
that usually have problems on the edges...
but again, the freezing appear not only at beginning or end but
      spread along the movie.

I have to be shure that 7000 bitrate or higher
      cannot interfere with this,

          same issue

These DVDs has more problems playing on the PC,
for example, some clips just start and the player software
          (powerdvd) stops.
The Windowsmedia can´t play the DVD in real motion
          it slows everything.

          BUT!
again the problem is with full DVDs,
there´s no freezeing or errors on my PC with DVD below 2GB.

And, the points where the desktop player (sony)
freeze are not the same than those on PC.

By the way, most of the freezing takes only 2 seconds,

          Ì'm lost...

              log

              I don´t have it
I´m using the Sonic DVDit to create and burn the DVD.

What I meant is that the DVD burned
has more problems running on the PC than on the player,
of course, other DVDs play ok on my PC, so...
