    I can't understand why TMPGEnc produces a file with no audio but, since that's the case, try the following to extract and convert the audio to a separate file that TMPGenc has to recognize:

    Download and install the "GoldWave" audio editor (free trial version)

    Open "GoldWave"

    Drag and drop the .AVI onto the main "GoldWave" window

    From the "File" dropdown window, select "Save as" and select "Wave(.WAV)"

    You should then be able to use the videostream from the original .AVI together with the newly created .WAV for the TMPGEnc procedures I've previously provided...

      Okay, thank you very very much. I just installed it and I am saving it right now. I'll report back with success/troubles/difficulties. But thank you again.
