    Made First Movie. Questions...

OK. I am now initiated. Made my first video. At least my first official one. I made it for a basketball team (season highlights) and made a little cash as well.

I used trial versions of Tsunami encoder and author. It worked so well that i went ahead and bought this...

To make my movie i used Windows Movie Maker 2. It worked fairly well but i am wondering if there is something better for editing that is affordable? Will this media editor program from tsunami be any good?

Movie maker is somewhat limited in the input formats. I am wondering if i can drastically improve quality by using something else. I saved my project as high quality NTSC and then encoded and authored it.

    Is there a better method?

For editing a movie? I thought someone said that the video editor was limited. Guess i will find out when the software arrives.

I used the video editor built into Nero and found it to be pretty decent. I just finished re-editing all the cut scenes from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and it worked perfectly for me. I'm sure there are better and easier ones out there but it worked well for me.
Then I used Goldwave to re-edit the audio to make the cut scenes blend perfectly.
