Widescreen
I thought I was happy with my dvd but the other day I realized something. My resolution looks too tall and the people are too stretched. Is there a way to make the resolution widescreen? I saw that TMPGEnc Plus only supports 352x240 and 720x480. Is there some other program I could use?

Are you referring to its appearance on a TV/standalone DVD player? If so, just change the display setting of your standalone DVD player (16:9, 4:3, or 4:3 "Pan&Scan"). -
if the source file going into tmpgenc has the correct resolution, simply check off "keep aspect ratio 2".
