DVDLab Pro - menu picture, subtitle question

    Hi,

i have two questions related to DVDLab Pro:

    a) my menu picture is in correct 720x576 pix size but after importing in dvdlab pro in just bangs out of the screen borders. I read it has to be placed inside the discontinued tv-borders...but how do they do it with normal dvds? Cause if i do it that way and resize it (shrink), it doesn´t fill the pc-screen anymore! Can i just leave the picture even though it doesn´t fit into the borders?

    b) set up some subtitles and my idea is now (because its only one subtitle stream) just to implement two buttons in main menu so it will play the film either with it (linked) or without. Will that work? I read about some really complicated commmands to be used for it...that scares me off.

    thanks for you help

    Diego

it seems DVDlab (Pro) has problems authoring full (here PAL 720x576) quality menus. If you import a picture in full D1 resolution, you have to reduce it to fit into the lower borders for correct tv playback...thats odd...

A normal commercial authored dvd and its menu can have this full resolution and dvd player and also give tv a correct playback without cutting off lines.
