Can read DVD on PC, but not on home DVD player.

When i download videos, doesn't matter what kind they are, i can't read them in my DVD player at home, just my PC DVD player. I usually get the image, or a bunch of winrar files and unzip them to an image file. When i use Roxio to burn them to DVD, that doesn't work, so i'll unzip the image into the video_ts folder. At that point i've used nero with no success, and i've used DVD-shrink to burn onto DVD. I've also tried using nero recode. What am i doing wrong that htey won't read on my DVD player at home?

Are the files really DVD files, it sounds like they are not. That's why they won't play. Also you never know what you're gonna get when you're downloading stuff.

you need to convert them to dvd compliant mpeg-2 files to burn on a dvd for your player, or something like divx (.avi) files if your player supports it.
