    Inserting video into power point

Hello all. This is my first post here, and I wish to thank anyone in advance who might know the answer to my question and share it with me. I searched the forum, but had no luck finding what I was needing, so I apologize if this has been asked before. Anyway...

I wish to insert a smal segment (say...10 seconds) of film into a power point presentation. I have inserted Mpeg files into power point before and never had problems, but those were Mpegs that were simply a stand alone file.

I have copied a small segment from a DVD to my hard disk, but I beleive the files that DVDShrink creates must use each other to function. In other words, can I make a small segment of film from a DVD that is completley independant and therefore can be inserted into another program (Powerpoint) as an object?

    Thanks again

Nevermind. I found a program that does this rather easily. It can be found here: http://www.aoamedia.com/. I only got the trial version (free), but the trial version will allow up to a 10 minute clip, which is all I need.
