replace audio in dvd/ remove existing audio

I am trying to do a personal project.
I have Akira on DVD.
I want to remove the audio of akira and replace it with my own soundtrack which I have on CD, how would I do this?
(the only software I have is freeware stuff like: shrink and DVDDecrypter)

basically, I was at a concert where a band for the 3rd set played the movie Akira on a big screen and did a 1 hour long jam to the movie and i want to re-create that for a friend who missed the concert. I already have the concert on CD. And now I have Akira on my HD.... please help

If you have a track you wish to substitute for another do this:

1. Demux the movie - use VobEdit (see my sig) or PgcDemux (get it from the VobBlanker site at my sig)
2. Remux in with your audio track - Muxman is the tool to use (see my sig)

Ensure your audio is AC3 - not WAV. Convert if required with BeSweet (see here).

Don't think there's an FAQ - but to demux, load the IFO of your movie in PgcDemux, and tick video, audio and subs. Create celtimes.txt. Pick an output location (New folder on desktop is what I use). Click on Process. You will end up with several files - an m2v, an ac3 (audio), one or more subtitle files and a txt file corresponding to the cell (chapter) times.

Now in muxman, make the video the m2v, the audio your NEW ac3 that you made in BeSweet, and add the subtitles (if any). Let muxman know what file your celltimes is. Click process and it will remux.

I extraxted Akira (file mode) via DVD decrypter

which IFO file do i put in PgcDemux

what settings do i use PgcDemux

I tried to use besweet but processsing time lasts only 4 sec and there is no output file
(i followed this tutorial for besweet, and i put everything in a file on my desktop)

Tell me please: Are you using the BeLight interface with BeSweet? See this FAQ.

The IFO you use as the input to PgcDemux is the IFO of the main movie. Pick an output folder. In Domain, select titles. Pick the PGC in the VTS that is the movie (if there's more than one). This should be obvious by the time.



This should demux a video, audio and subtitle streams if you select them (as I have).

PS. You need to turn options on in your user control panel to receive email replies to your posts (change Default Thread Subscription Mode to instant email notification - note this will mean you get an email for every thread you post to).

hi boys.

i did one guide to insert audio tracks (max=8 tracks) in dvds with dvdshrink,ifoedit and vobedit without loose chapters and subtitles(can be used to insert new subs too).
the problem is that my english is horrible and if you want to know how to do it, i will do in english using single and maybe erroneous words. i can host pictures of each step for better explanations(will be better than my english )
i think that my single tutor can be used under this guide here and all changes in the guide to use new tools are welcome.
