Reauthoring using DVD Shrink

How can I use DVD Shrink reauthoring to cut something out of the middle of a file? I know how to cut something off the beginning and the end, but not in the middle. I have something embedded I would like to remove. Thanks

Hmm, let's see if I remember....I did that once or twice. Reauthor, drag the title over, set end frame before spot. Drag same title over again, it'll have a (2) after it to distinguish it from the first instance. Set start frame after spot. Backup.

Thanks, it worked! I ended up with 2 files, but the DVD didn't know the difference after it was backed up - it played like a single file. I appreciate your help!
