The DVD+R were the first ones I tried, and they worked. I haven't had any problems with them, so I figured why change.
I need some help please. Problem with a DVD +RW

This is the one you should go for if you want to update your firmware - ver 1.F3:
Download firmware: http://mdmm.com/drivers/OpticalDrive...9A2_FW_1F3.exe
Download how-to-do: http://mdmm.com/support/docs/MegaSTO...gradeGuide.pdfComment

GH, I think you should update the burners firmware, but I don't think it will solve the problem
I did some searching this morning and found alot of reports of conflicts with Nero and the (Prassi/Veritas driver for win 2K). It would be a good idea to try to get that off your machine unless you absolutely need to have RecordNow or whatever application it is that put it there.
But again, I'm not sure that will solve your original problem, since you've said you don't have any problem reading the other DVD's that you've burnt.
I'm starting to think that the real problem is due to the compilation size being only 500 Mb. Since you're only burning about 1/10 of the disk, I think the standalone player gets confused.
So, this is what I suggest trying in DVDShrink:
1) In Full Disk Mode, Find the dophin folder and Open it.
2) Switch to ReAuthor mode.
3) Drag Title 1 (Main Movie) over to the Compilation window
4) Repeat, In the compilation window you'll see
Title 1
Title 1(2)
Title 1(3)
5) Do it as many times as necessary to get the green bar up to 2 Gb.
Now this assumes that the disk they gave you only has a Main Title and nothing else, if there is a Menu or if the disc actually consists of several titles, you'll need to take a slightly different approach.
*check your PM's*

That can happen. It is known as shared titles.
If they do look the same you usually just need to drag title 1 to the compilation window.Comment
