I'm attempting to put several videos on a dvd using NeroVision Express. I managed to get the amount of videos I wanted, but it exceeds the space limit by 0.01 gigs. This is very frustrating. Is there any way to compress the video a little bit? I have already changed the speed to super long play, but it only helps a little. Also do any other NeroVision Express users think this program is a little glitchy? Thanks for any help.

looking at your sig i assume you have experience with tmpgenc, why not re-encode 1 file to a LOWER BITRATE USING THE WIZARD?"One day men will look back and say I gave birth to the 20th Century". Jack The Ripper - 1888

I will try that, but the reason I wanted to use Nero is because it does all of the encoding and authoring in one job.Comment

Or just load it into DVDShrink, should transcode it very fast.

I don't think I can use dvdshrink, because the files I'm trying to encode are MP4s.Comment

Have you tried the Nero Express short lead out feature under - Preferences - Expert Features. It saves 12mg when burning onto CD. I'm not sure whether it works for DVD as i've never tried it, but it's worth a shot. There is also a feature for DVD overburn.Comment

I have tried using the overburn but usually it won't burn at all or it will get stuck at somewhere around 30%.Comment

Also I thought that I would try taking one of the files and cutting out a small portion of the credits, but I don't have a video editing program that can recognize mp4s. Are there any?Comment

Does not Nero Recode allow you to edit the start and end?

I tried Nero Recode, but it didn't seem to have any cutting and splitting features. Does anyone else have any suggestions?Comment
