How can I get swedish subtitles if I copy a movie without the desired subtitle?

I want to buy The Nanny box with all episodes but it hasn´t got swedish subtitles. If I can find the correct subtitles for each episode on the net, can I then make a copy from the original and paste swedish subtitles to the copy?
If so, how do I do it to get it right? The same thing goes for other boxes without swedish subtitles that are available for ordering on the net.

You can add new subtitle streams to a DVD. The general idea is to demux out the video and audio from the DVD then re-mux everything back together with your new subtitle stream. You can use tools like muxman, PgcDemux, IFOedit or others to do this.

    Here's a guide:

I made my own tutorial ''How to add subtitles to a DVD'' in Croatian (http://www.neotronic.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=20&Itemid=31) and English (http://www.neotronic.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=31) translation (by Mikky) How to add subtitles to a DVD?!!

I followed that guide for the first time about a month ago to add English subtitles to Bergman's Kvinnodröm and it worked great the first time.

    Lycka till!

      Thank you moonrocks!

I will look into this asap.
I´m a newbie so it´s a bit difficult in the beginning to get the hang of it all and the software provided. Some are easier than others to comprehend.

      Tack igen för hjälpen.
