I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I'll try to explain my problem:
First of all, I'm not very good at this, I just started but I've successfully burned a few DVDs already.
When I tried to rip my DVD, it was damaged and it skipped 3 "sections" (ex. I have up to VTS_03_0, big blank, VTS_06_0 and everything after that). I actually don't need the stuff I couldn't rip so I thought it would be ok...
Of course, it never works that way for me! It's small enough to fit on one disc, so I put it in DVD Shrink, and it won't load the movie at all.
Is it because the original menu files think I still have those missing files, so it's now an error? I thought I could redo the ifo files and put them in order - but only the main movie seems to work. When I try the extras (VTS_06 to 09) ifoedit actually writes over my new movie file so that I only end up with one new VOB (VTS_01_1) file in my folder, never anything else.
I tried it without checking "create new ifo files", and pushed "get VTS sectors", but it still won't load in DVD Shrink, saying "failure to load VIDEO_TS.IFO".
Can someone please help me out? I think I just need to know how to link my original files... ??
