    No audio in TMPGENC

    Hi guys,

I have 2 DivX movies that I want to convert to DVD and they both have MP3 audio. The movies have different framerates to PAL and so I wanted to convert the video and audio at the same time using TMPGENC.

My problem is that no audio shows in TMPGENC even though I have the Directshow Multimedia File Reader as the Highest priority. I can use VirtualDubMod to demux the audio but then I will have a synch problem won't I?

I know this problem has been seen before but upping the Directshow Multimedia File Reader priority is usually the cure.

Movies both play fine in Media Player.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Mr E

    not necessarily..try this:

decompress the audio , do the following with VirtualDUB...

    1. Click Video - Direct Stream Copy.
    2. Click Audio - Full Processing Mode.
    3. Click Audio - Compression. Select and click ok
    4. Click File - Save AVI and try it with TMPGEnc.
