I have Roxio Media Creator 7.
I am trying to figure out how to re-author a disk. The disk I have has several short movies on it. I would like to break these apart and be able to mix and match the movies on another DVD. However, I noticed that when I tried to do this, it first converts the movies to MPEGs, which degrades the quality quite significantly.
I can create ISO files for each movie on the disk, but I don't think you can use the media selector to add ISO files in DVD builder to create the new DVD with new menus, etc.
Is there a way to copy these movies from the disk and use them elsewhere (i.e., DVD builder within Media Creator) without degrading the video quality?
ALSO, is there a way to bypass the 30 second maximum duration on a menu screen sound loop where a picture is used for the background (and if I use a video clip in the background instead, will the menu loop only AFTER the entire video clip has played, or will it only play 30 seconds of the video clip?).
Thanks in advance!
