How to confirm LB between titles?

I've just finished using PGCEdit with ImgBurn, setting the layer break, and confirmed the setting in ImgBurn. This is on a 4 title disk (The Next Generation, 4 shows) However. When I run the disk through IfoEdit afterwards, I can't see the layer break. It was supposed to be installed between two titles (yay), but it does not show.

What other program will confirm it's placement please?

I've never heard of anyone having a problem with PgcEdit's LB placement, why do you doubt it?

Since I can't see it, I wondered if I did it right. Not so much doubting PCGEdit, as my own competence. I did not think my question would offend.

Is there a program that actually confirms the LB between titles? It seems that IfoEdit does not.

If it's possible to open a DVD into PCGEdit to check the LB placement, I don't know how.

If you selected the LB to be at the start of a title (eg episode 3) - which is the very best place for it to be since it will appear seamless during playback - then it won't be immediately apparent, because all titles start with cell flag 10 (STC discont and "layer break"). In this case, the non-seamless joint is the actual layer break.

So, nothing to worry about if you did it this way.

The LB is 'visible' only if it is somewhere inside a title. The cell you have chosen in the PgcEdit's GUI should have the seamless bit clear (it will appear with the Layer break checkbox enabled in the Cell table of the PGC Editor.)

But the first cell of a title must always have the seamless flag clear. So, if you have placed the LB between two titles (ie, on cell 1 of the 2nd. title), you will not notice the LB position, since there is no difference in the new cell table.

Yes. I picked a green cell (cell 1), so I guess that answers it. This also explains why the original (un-authored) file also showed no LB. I can only now assume it's for the same reason.
